I hope you all enjoyed the Super Bowl yesterday! Re: the Halftime Show, riding a robot tiger is now officially on my bucket list, right next to living in Spain and having lunch with Diane von Furstenburg.

On the ad side: my favorite commercial was the Tampax ‘Like a Girl’. It truly made me cry… perhaps not unlike a girl (and I say that affectionately). I am touched and filled with joy that there were so many empowering messages coming through Superbowl commercials. Specifically, creating awareness about gender equality through ads during the most watched event of the year is brave, innovative and just plain awesome. I’m so happy I am woman and the mother of a strong-willed daughter and believe to my core that doing anything #LikeAGirl means you did something totally fierce and with courage. Well done, Tampax.

Now on to the outfit. I wore this casual outfit complete with a warm, oversized cardigan over the weekend. Blazers may be the perfect way to add some polish to an outfit during the work week, but once Saturday rolls around, I’m all about comfort and practicality. (As is Harlowe who has been wearing her North Face jacket with absolutely everything.)  She calls it ‘soft jacket’ and when I try to hand her anything else, she says, “No, mama! I want soft jacket!” I get her on that. I want one too.

Wearing: Leith oversized tee / Cardigan c/o PinkBlush (love this one too) / Marc by Marc Jacobs jeans / House of Harlow necklace / Nine West boots (similar here) / Philip Lim ‘Pashli’ bag / Celine sunnies
