Oh So Blue – Lucky FABB Day 1

fullskirt with gingham

Lucky FABB Summary: Grown women wearing sparkly tutus teetering down the halls of the SLS Beverly Hills, rarely making eye contact due to rigorous social media updates via their adorably cased iPhone. Snark aside, it was pretty entertaining.

Lucky FABB is THE place to go if you’re even moderately interested in fashion and beauty. If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen me proclaiming my love for Nicole Richie, or video and style maven, Chriselle Lim. I loved hearing Nicole Richie’s ‘style conversation’ with Eva Chen. Not only is Nicole one fierce woman, but she is a mother, designer, entrepreneur and (get this),  gardener! She grows a wide variety of veggies in her garden; she’s just like a midwest farmer, except she cultivates produce while wearing Joel’s sweats and one of her three vintage Chanel fanny packs.

She’s adorable, has the most bad ass hair color ever (Caity – pictured above – gives her a run for her money) and doles out reasonable wisdom like, “happiness is a choice. You choose to walk in light/be a positive force. It’s not always easy but it’s how I live.” which was her response when asked how she deals with haters. Loves!

For day one, I went with a feminine midi skirt and gingham button down. I’ll share outfit number two tomorrow! Have a great day and as always, thanks for reading.
