I haven’t worn a ruched dress since college when I had a weekend-induced affinity for club wear. As a thirty-year-old professional, I don’t have many ruched pieces on hand (aside from one ruched bikini bottom I can’t part with despite not wearing it for six years). I’ve wanted to get my hands on this particular ruched maternity dress for over a year. After recommending it to one of my girlfriends for her maternity photos and then seeing her photos, I knew I had to have this dress for my next pregnancy. I mean, she looked totally svelte at 8.5 months pregnant and – in all seriousness – those photos of her were some of the hottest maternity photos I’ve ever seen.
