Mad for Plaid

I love my skirts and heels, but have been increasingly drawn to casual and functional outfits. There are probably a dozen reasons why, but the main one is sore legs.  Since I’ve reintroduced my legs to long runs (I ran the Nike Women’s Half Marathon yesterday!), my lower-half deserves a break from stilettos.

I wore this casual outfit around SF for a Wagner family date. The flannel was intended to add a layer of warmth, but it was shockingly warm that day so it ended up tied around my waist. Like REM and Doc Martens; a shirt tied around the waist is something I can appreciate regardless of the decade.
