It’s you-know-what weather in the Bay Area which allows for wardrobe layering. What I love about layering is how it can instantly make an outfit look more polished (when done right). Some layering best practices I’ve learned a long the way are 1.) Coordinate solids with one color in a printed piece, and 2.) Choose pieces from the same color family when layering prints. Some gals do the latter so effortlessly well, it’s sick. My friend Carlina layers patterns like a pro and is a great go-to for inspiration.
