I saw this field jacket on a woman at America’s Cup in SF and had to have it. (The woman looked so sophisticated and chic, like she was about to go sailing or shuck oysters.) I tracked the woman down waiting in line for champagne (of course) and she told me the jacket was from Banana Republic.
Fast forward a few months…when Monogram and Banana Republic Factory Store invited me to style a few pieces from their latest line, I snapped this baby up. I feel like all I’m missing now is my own sail boat.
