I hope you all had a great weekend! We’ve been keeping busy exploring our new neighborhood! I wore this moody floral dress yesterday for a trip to a flea market with some girlfriends. I’m hugely grateful that I have some girlfriends in LA who already know the hot haunts and are willing show this gal the ropes! It takes away a lot of the uncertainty of moving to a new place.
When comfort is key, there’s nothing better than pairing a dress or skirt with some metallic slip-ons. I can’t get enough of these shoes – last seen with a dress here and with a pleated skirt here. Metallic slip-ons keep the outfit casual, but add a little bit of edge which is why I will wear them until there are holes in the soles.
Harlowe joined me in the petal to the metal movement without me even realizing it. We picked these shoes up for her a few days ago and she has not taken them off. She keeps asking strangers if they like her shoes and they look at her and smile, then say, “yes!” and she giggles.
