I’ve been hunting for the perfect coffee table for what has truly been a few years at this point. When it comes to furniture, I’m not terribly picky, but I needed something kid-safe (no glass or harsh edges, etc.) that is equal parts chic and affordable. A find that – up until today – was a bit of a challenge. Not problematic, however, was finding some wonderful pieces to incorporate into our bedroom: a beautiful dreamcatcher, vibrant Jonathan Adler duvet and shams in coral, a rhino bust (which you may have already spotted) and many other fresh, eye-catching pieces.
As for the coffee table? It arrives this Thursday, so stay tuned for the now mandatory mini-apartment tour! We went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market and found a beautiful, handmade piece crafted from old wood recovered from a home in Silverlake. That may have been the first time that I went somewhere for something, found just that and managed not to get much else! Personal challenge: try doing that at Target.
