In a world where buying clean can mean spending more green, there’s always Target. Before you stop reading thinking this is #sponcon, it is most definitely not. I bought all these products with my own money and I didn’t have to spend a lot of it.
My love affair with Target started when I was a young girl. My mom and I would go shopping after church. We would go to the clearance section and try to put together outfits that looked luxe and felt exciting. She made budget-friendly shopping fun and I always felt amazing leaving with my #TargetStyle clothes.
Fast forward many, many years 😉 much to my husband’s chagrin, a love of shopping has definitely been instilled in me. My mom is no longer with me on Earth, but she’s constantly with me in spirit — even at Target. I love going there and finding budget-friendly skincare, beauty products and clothes for me and the kids. When I do, I am always reminded of her and her ability to make us feel special no matter what.
Her death is part of the reason I got in to clean beauty. Her untimely passing and 3 years later, my first pregnancy made it abundantly clear that I needed to clean my products up! It is only fitting that I find so many clean products at Target. Sharing some of my absolute favorites for you to save for your next trip there.
1. W3LL People Lipstick
When you want something bolder than your everyday lippie, this is it. I am OBSESSED with ‘brave’ which I am wearing above. It’s the most gorgeous red-orange.
2. W3LL People Lipgloss
I’ve been wearing this as everyday lip color for years because it is light, not sticky and adds a beautiful wash of color that looks like your lips but better.
3. W3LL People Bio Booster Serum
This is a seven-in-one facial serum powered by organic botanicals that does everything. It’s truly a one-bottle-fits-all product that helps with everything from moisturizing, soothing redness, priming and perfecting. I’ve been able to simplify my beauty routine with this baby!
4. Versed Gel Cream
this lightweight moisturizer is perfect for night I love it after prolonged exposure to the sun because it is super-nourishing.
5. Weleda Skin Food
The quintessential lightweight moisturizer. I also use their shampoo/body wash on the kids. Their products are no-frills, super-dependable and make great staples.
6. W3LL People Bio Bronzer
This is gorgeous — it adds the perfect lit-from-within glow and looks good any just about any skin tone.
7. Acure Soothing Day Cream SPF 30
Nothing makes wearing SPF everyday easier than this lightweight and super-affordable day cream.
8. Versed Hydrating Mask
SO SO SO hydrating and smells delicious. I like to mix it with a Versed Clarifying Mask to really clean out my skin and put the moisture right back in.
9. Pixi Glow Tonic
I got introduced to this at a BeautyCon event years ago. At the time I wasn’t using a primer (gasp!) and now I will never go back. It leaves skin soft, supple and feeling clean!
10. Honest Beauty Mascara
I just did a photo shoot wearing this on my natural lashes with NO EXTENSIONS or strips and I got so many compliments on my lashes. The secret? The primer in this makes them look long and thick!

I went to a clean COVERGIRL girl event a few weeks back and still have to play around with all the new products I picked up there so more to come on this front shortly.
