At the risk of sounding cliché; I can’t believe it’s already back-to-school time! Harlowe starts 2nd grade in 17 days and it seems like I was recapping her 1st grade year just yesterday. I’m embarrassed to admit, I’ve had to make some changed to my ‘No Shopping’ resolution because Harlowe grew 3 inches this year and went up a size in shoes and while Kaare is nails at helping out with cooking, cleaning, being the kind of dad that generally makes me swoon, I can’t trust him to get the kids clothes they will feel comfortable in. I mean, I am with them all day so only I know that Gunnar will seldom wear pants and Harlowe prefers activewear but does need a dress or two for her ‘fancy days’ which generally fall on Fridays.
